Sega has been teasing characters for Project Needlemouse, a 2D game. Recently, they announced that Sonic the Hedgehog will be the main character. Thus bringing our favorite blue hedgehog will be the main focus, and only playable character, of Project Needlemouse. Can we say traditional Sonic games FTW?

Also featured on the blog was a piece of concept art of the one of the enemies of the game, which happens to resemble creatures from the old school Sonic games on the Sega Genesis.
